Due to having a large pipeline of works in the Logan and Ipswich Regions, we're on the lookout for new team members to join our Pipe Crews. Working in small teams, you will have the opportunity to work across Sewer, Storm and Water Mains projects.
You’ll have the opportunity develop your career, gaining formal qualifications and enhancing your skills with nationally recognised tickets including a Certificate III Civil Construction Pipe Laying.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
TOPPY/LABOURERS
- Previous experience working in a labouring role within Civil construction
- You'll have a solid understanding of basic Civil Pipe principles with demonstrated experience.
- Able to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
- Confined space, quick cut, front end loader tickets (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience laying sewer, storm water and water main.
- Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
- Capable of shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level
- Ability to set-up pipe laser
- Ability to read, interpret and understand plans and standards
- Confined space, quick cut, front end loader tickets (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in the Civil Pipe field covering Sewer, Storm Water and water main installs
- Skilled in operating 20 tonne plus machines with demonstrated experience of lifting operations using excavator
- Experience lifting shoring, deep trenches, placing pipes and all aspects of back-fill and compaction
- Knowledge and ability to use GPS.
