Reporting to the Environment and Community Manager, an opportunity exists for a proactive and organised Land Management Coordinator to join the Oaky Creek team.
The primary responsibility of the role is to support the Environment and Community Manager with on-the-ground field operations to enact successful rehabilitation activities at Oaky Creek. The role requires a solutions provider who is goal orientated, highly organised, productive, and communicative with a proven track record of delivering results.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing field programs aligned with the Pest Management Plan and site Annual Rehabilitation.
- Coordination of in-field aspects of proposed cattle grazing activities in rehabilitated mine site areas, including fences and waters.
- Demonstrate site operations comply with environmental regulations and targets by addressing issues such as land and rehabilitation, waste management, environmental and community impact.
- Consistent practices with Oaky Creek Coal's values, policies, and standards.

- A strong background in environment and community management with applied project management experience within the property/land/mining sector/s.
- Experience interpreting and complying with environmental and indigenous cultural heritage legislation, regulatory frameworks and license conditions.
- A commitment to local community activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft applications
- S1, S2, S3 and G2 competencies (desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science/engineering or similar (desirable)
