- In conjunction with the Mine Development Planning Supt, negotiate land access agreements facilitating exploration and mining activities on neighbouring private land.
- Development, in conjunction with the Mine Development Planning Supt an annual Land Access and Buffer management strategy.
- Support delivery of enabling activities to support integrated mine plans through interaction with approvals, heritage, engineering and project teams.
- Support delivery of enabling activities in support of operations buffer management plans.
- High degree of business, legal and commercial acumen
- Proven capability in developing business cases, undertaking trade off analysis and delivering commercial outcomes
- Understanding and interpretation of legal documents, especially Land Access Agreements, Mineral Title related agreements and State Agreements
- Understand and interpret property and land related legislation, especially Mineral Titles Legislation.
- Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster alignment and collaboration between multi-disciplinary technical teams as well as sub-functions
- Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Engineering, Geoscience or Science or similar.
