AddressWe are seeking a Laser Machine Operator to fill a permanent position in a well established Advanced Engineering Workshop located in Morningside, BRISBANE. An immediate start is available with on the job training available.
On a daily basis the successful applicant will be required to operate a 10kW LVD Fiber Laser Cutting Machine to produce Sheet Metal and plate components in a timely and cost-effective manner.
The role includes:
- Operating a CNC Laser Cutting Machine
- Loading / Unloading material with forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Receiving and Organization of Material.
- Packing and Dispatch of Finished Product.
- Daily Maintenance
On the job training will be provided for equipment as required. Please include details of any previous experience and also makes & models of any CNC Equipment and/or Lasers that you have used previously.
Any LVD, TRUMPF, BYSTRONIC, Fiber or CO2 experience is beneficial

Skills and Experience:
- Current Forklift License.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a production environment.
- Assist other Tradesmen and work in a team environment.
- An ability to read and understand drawings and tolerances
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and ability to Multitask
