An integral opportunity presents within our Forrestdale Operations laser cutting team to plan, organise and control production of the Laser.
Responsibilities:

• Flat Bed Laser Cutting programming
• Supply nest instructions for daily production requirements
• Efficiently nest materials
• Providing accurate and timely quotations to customers enquiries
• Analyze job order and perform necessary calculations.
• Analyze and select speeds and cutting tools for programs
• Ensure customer quality requirements are met at all times
• Monitor all programs to make sure they follow drawings instructions and safely and successfully complete the task
• Stock control within programming

Skills and attributes:

• Minimum 2 years laser cutting programming experience
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Knowledge of metal shop work
• Must be highly detail oriented
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Drawing/Nesting experience and machine knowledge preferred
• SigmaNEST experience is essential
• High level of Computer literacy
• Self motivated, well organised, proactive, with the ability to work well under pressure
