Your new role
You will get the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners with access to mentoring and development. This role would suit someone who enjoys client-facing interactions, high-quality work, and working collaboratively across our team on a broad range of matters. We love to provide a range of solutions to our client's problems. We deal with a wide range of matters and will have ample opportunities to hone your craft, grow your experience explore your passion in areas of law such as employment, IP, property, wills and estates.
The firm offers a very supportive team and culture, along with quality support and systems in place.
Working in the Melbourne CBD office, you will be responsible for managing matters from initial consultations with clients until conclusion. You will be responsible for developing relationships and maintaining direct contact with clients and barristers.
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years PAE, ideally with experience in or a passion for any or all of the areas of law - employment, IP, property, wills and estates
- Managing your own file load and deal directly with clients
- Have a passion for providing an exceptional client experience at every touchpoint
- Have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
- Be a good team player
- Be highly efficient with a strong ability to build client relationships
- Have proven ability to effectively identify issues and resolve same promptly
- Show initiative and have good time management practice and skill
- Ideally, have experience with LEAP
- Be admitted to practice in Australia and hold a current Victorian practicing certificate
