Your Role: As a Senior Cake Decorator/Baker/Pastry Chef at Dello Mano, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen, bringing our delicious creations to life with your expertise and artistry. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Playing a key role in the production process, contributing your skills and creativity to produce handmade delights that excite our customers.
- Taking on leadership responsibilities, guiding and supporting junior team members to help them develop their baking/decorating skills and grow in their roles.
- Hands on, baking and decorating cakes, brownies, and cookies with precision and flair, ensuring each creation meets our exacting standards of taste and presentation.
- Utilising your supervisory experience to coordinate tasks and ensure the smooth profitable operation of the kitchen.
- Preferably you'll have Lean Management 5 S experience or an interest to assist with our current team in continual improvement in our kitchen.
What We're Looking For:
- A passion for baking and decorating, with proven competency in creating exquisite items like cakes, brownies, cookies and confectionery.
- Someone with skills across both baking and decorating although favouring one or the other may be the case.
- Preferable experience in baking supervisory production with the ability to be hands on within a small team.
- A strong interest in handmade production cake decorating and a desire to continuously learn and develop new skills.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, with the ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve their best.
- Experience in managing production against customer orders
- Ambition and a drive to grow personally and professionally, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a creative flair that sets our creations apart.
