Lead Business Analyst

Job Title: Lead Business Analyst - (Data Protection)

• Rate: $900-$950 per day + super
• Duration: Contract starting ASAP - 30th June 2024 (potential to extend)
• Location: Macquarie Park + WFH

About the Role:

The Lead Business Analyst will manage the identification and determination of complex and diverse Cyber Security and data requirements, predominantly focussing on unstructured data, technical data analysis, governance and maintenance of security controls.

You will undertake detailed analyses, evaluation and facilitate the development and implementation of Cyber Security controls to business systems, processes and workflows ensuring alignment with the overall business requirements. The role will predominantly focus on technical data analysis and information management.

Key Responsiblities:

• Manage investigations to identify and define diverse business requirements and specify effective Cyber Security processes and solutions through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisational change.
• Coordinate the development of process flows, in collaboration with relevant IT and OT specialists, including MSP vendors, to ensure specific user requirements and process handoffs are clearly communicated in business terms for submission to Implementation and Operational teams.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to business managers to assist with defining their specific requirements and keep senior management fully informed on current and projected operational requirements and emerging issues for delivery of Cyber Security controls.
• Utilise skills in technical data analysis to review unstructured data and deploy operating model.

Key Skills:

• Extensive and demonstrated experience conducting technical analysis of business needs across a complex portfolio of initiatives in a federated or multi-sourced environment.
• Experience interpreting and translating technical analysis results into insightful, clear, and succinct process diagrams, specifications and requirements documentation and providing business analysis support for solution implementations.
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
• Demonstrated experience Cyber Security analysis (Data Protection) and project delivery experience (5+ years)
• Experience in technical data analysis, data review, technical analysis, and strong stakeholder engagement skills
