Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production of meat displays and stock to meet demand.
- Minimise product wastage through effective management.
- Deep understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using meat production tools safely.
- Developing new and innovative value add range to excite customers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ensure the highest standards of meat preparation, trimming, cutting and packing for orders and display.
- Developing a dedicated team of skilled butchers and provide training as needed.
- Experience in supervision or management in a food retail environment.
You will be assisting the Group Retail Operations manager in all aspects of our retail business bringing your fantastic customer service and wealth of experience with you.
The usual requirements of competency in meat handling and the production of value-added products including all the technical aspects of the business will be a given.
