Leadership Opportunity - Age Care - Nursing
A great role exists for an experienced Lead Care Manager in the Geelong area. This will be an opportunity for a person to come in and lead a team of Care Managers, facilitating excellent service quality person centred care. This will include services for loved ones and residents.
The Lead Care Manageris a newly created role and will see the ideal person to be responsible for clinical leadership, and also support for the General Manager.
Some of the responsibilities will include...
- Collaborate with General Manager on clinical management of the Home
- Lead and develop local care teams
- Manage clinical education and competency of staff
- Mentor, coach and support care staff in conducting quality assessments, care planning and reviews
- Promote and foster a positive, collaborative and diverse culture
- Support residents, families, visitors and staff in a caring and professional manner
What we care about...
- Two years’ experience in a clinical leadership role
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Relevant Nursing Qualifications (Division 1 Nurse)
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
- 2024 influenza vaccination
- NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)
- Eligibility to work in Australia
