The Position
Position Title: Lead Clinician (Community Mental Health Case-Manager) Classification: Registered Nurse grade 3, Social Worker grade 2, Occupational Therapist grade 2 Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $4,109.00 - $4,247.40 Hours per fortnight: 64 – 80 Employment Status: Ongoing and fixed term. Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination
Your New Role
Here at Bendigo Health, we’re currently seeking a Lead Clinician (Community Mental Health Case-Manager) to join our Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.
Bendigo Adult Community Mental Health
Within the Bendigo Adult Community Mental Health team (BACMHT), we provide proactive case management and support to persons aged 25-65 years, in the community setting. We have a multi-disciplinary team, providing care five days per week.
Our treatment is recovery-focused, and care is provided during all stages of illness. We also support our patients through any care, treatment or discharge planning associated with their inpatient or residential admissions.
If you're looking for flexibility, we've got you covered. This position is available full-time (80 hours per fortnight, with a monthly ADO) or part-time (64 hours per fortnight). Our service operates Monday to Friday, 08:30am-5:00pm. We can offer flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
About You
You might be a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker ideally with experience and post-graduate qualifications in Mental Health. Other Allied Health professionals are also welcome to apply – we value the different perspective that you might bring to our team.
You'll be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, underpinned by sound clinical knowledge and experience. While you’re managing your own case-load, you’ll also be willing to pitch in and contribute positively as part of a close-knit regional team. Great organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure you can stay on top of your busy and varied workload.
A driver’s licence is essential, as you will be required to travel regularly throughout our region.
