The primary responsibility of the advertised senior position, is to provide Clinical Coordination and leadership of the Community Mental Health main stream services, primarily Triage, Acute Care and 7day Follow Up. The successful applicant will assist the management team in leading the clinical services (and practicing within) to ensure a high quality service is provided to our consumers. As a senior clinician on the Community Mental Health team the role includes the provision of Supervision and the facilitation of education to other members of the Mental Health teams. This role will provide support to individuals with multiple complex needs including mental illness, drug and alcohol use and homelessness. The role also includes working with the individual consumer, their family and carers, and their support network in the community in a recovery framework.

Selection Criteria
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
2. Current registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or Australian Association of Social Workers
3. A minimum of 5 years experience working within a Community Mental Health Position as part of a multidisciplinary health care team, AND/OR further study or experience in the specialist area of perinatal or infant Mental Health.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead, direct and co-ordinate high quality holistic care to support clients and carers within a Mental Health service
5. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience of the MHA 2007 NSW
6. Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills, and effective interpersonal and organisational skills, including using an electronic medical record system.
7. Current unrestricted NSW Drivers License (Car)
