Your new company
Your new position will be within one of the leading educational institutes in Victoria. The organisation requires a Lead Security Analyst to assist with security to safeguard the system.
Your new role
As a Security Analyst, you’ll be supporting to strengthen security posture within the system by analysing and investigating cyber incidents, suggest remediation plans.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to monitor IT systems to identify threat
- Assessing and managing cybersecurity threats and vulnerability
- Ability to develop vulnerability reports and mitigation plans
- Demonstrate experience in vulnerability assessment tools e.g.- Splunk, Crowdstrike
- Assist with improving the security posture capability
- Strong understanding to contribute towards enhancement of vulnerability management lifecycle
- Understanding of best practices in cloud security, network security, security operations, systems security, and incident response
- Knowledge of existing network and security related tools
- Strong understanding of security standards, frameworks and compliance
You will be rewarded with a contract for 12 months in one of the government agencies with high possibility of extension. Supportive work environment.
