We are looking for an enthusiastic Lead Educator (2.5 - 3 years group) to join our client in their almost brand-new 85-place early learning service in Mount Waverley.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Diploma qualified Educator who has some leadership experience or displays leadership traits. You will lead a small group of 2.5-3-year-olds supported by experienced and passionate Educators.
Our client's philosophy is promoting chides interest through play-based learning. The service's Reggio-inspired curriculum integrates literacy, numeracy, science, music, social awareness, emotional intelligence and language development into a typical week. There is also access to a weekly visit from an Artist for creative art experiences and a qualified sports coach for an opportunity to work on motor skills.
Responsibilities include:
• Making children laugh while learning!
• Create a stimulating, positive and fun environment for the children
• Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
• Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
• Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
• Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers.
• Hold a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience as a room leader/educational leader
• Use your amazing coaching techniques to help develop reflective practices
• Identify areas of improvement and support educators in their planning
• Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
• Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
