As one of our highly valued Lead Educators, you’ll support and guide children’s learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners. "This is a permanent part-time position from Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week. The hours of work can be either 1:15pm-6:15pm Monday to Friday or 1:50pm-6:15pm Monday to Thursday & Friday will be 11:15am-6:15pm.

At C&K Calamvale Community College Kindergarten your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. Our highly experienced and passionate educators are the foundation of our kindergarten. Their commitment to the Calamvale community is evident in that five of our team members have been employed at C&K Calamvale for over 10 years. The longevity of our educators enables and fosters close, working relationships amongst educators and with families. We have many returning families with younger siblings that request familiar educators as a trusting relationship has already been established.

Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have or be willing to work towards:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
