Springbank Rise by Busy Bee is a 126 place centre and has a wonderful team of over 30 qualified Educators with newly renovated architecturally designed playgrounds offer a tranquil environment. Located in Casey, Canberra, our childcare provides exciting opportunities and challenges for children to play and develop. Essential Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).
- A current and valid check that confirms the candidate's suitability to work with children.
- First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.
- Capability to guide, mentor and provide direction to other educators in the room or setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues and management.
- Experience in designing, implementing and assessing educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
- Previous experience in a Lead Educator, Room Leader or similar role in an early childhood setting.
- Ability to create an environment where all children, including those with additional needs can thrive and learn.
- Ability to work in partnership with other educators, support staff and external professionals to enhance children's learning and wellbeing.
- Proficiency in using relevant software for children's documentation, communication with families and educational planning.
