Lead Educator - Toddlers

An exciting opportunity for a Lead Educator is now available with our client - a boutique early learning service tucked away in the quiet streets of Willoughby. You will join a service that has established itself for more than 20 years and achieved ACECQA recognition of exceeding status.

Our service caters to just 39 children spread over three rooms. This Room Leader role will see you take the lead of just 10 toddlers. You are supported by experienced educators who have remained with the company for many years.

The spacious indoor/outdoor play spaces have been architecturally designed to suit the needs of all children from the ages of 6 weeks to school age. About you

• A Diploma or higher qualification in children's Services as approved by ACECQA.
• Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
• Current Employment Working with Children Check.
• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
• Prior experience and confidence in leading an age group setting and writing educational programs.
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers.
• Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
• The ability to implement stimulating programs and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF.
• The ability to observe and record children learning and contribute to their educational portfolios.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
