This is a permanent part-time opportunity with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.About the Role
To be successful in this role, you will be Diploma qualified and have the ability to guide and mentor our team of Educators to inspire children to play and learn in new and exciting ways.As a Lead Educator, youu0027ll collaborate closely with families and colleagues to design and implement programs tailored to the childrenu0027s needs and interests. Your role is to infuse enthusiasm and energy into our endeavours, fostering a genuine passion for nurturing the growth and development of primary school-aged children. Central to your responsibilities is cultivating a lifelong love for learning among our young ones. Additionally, your knack for establishing meaningful connections will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with our families, educators, and the wider community.Our Centre

• A competitive hourly rate as per the Children’s Services Award 2010. Level 4.1 to Level 4.3, $32.38 to $33.37 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program.
• Following our events calendar to ensure all children have the opportunity to participate in the program and special events.
• Support children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe and nurturing environment.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA.
• Experience working as a Lead Educator would be preferable.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standards
