About you:
You’re an Experienced Lead Educator with a passion for delivering high-quality care and an inclusive leadership style. Your programming is designed to empower our children as independent learners, nurturing their curiosity, resilience, and self-awareness. Through engaging in conversation with the children, you develop their inquisitive minds, laying the foundation for their learning journey with us.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Support our educators to implement programs, follow the EYLF and share the excitement of child-led discovery.
Develop and implement a comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.
Incorporate play-based learning and ensure alignment with state and national Early Childhood Education standards.
Create and maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.
Manage classroom resources effectively and ensure materials are accessible and engaging for children.
Mentor and support educators, providing guidance on best practices in Early Childhood Education.
Conduct regular observations and evaluations of teaching practices, offering constructive feedback and professional development opportunities.
Conduct ongoing assessments of children’s development and learning.
Use assessment data to tailor instruction to meet the individual needs of each child.
Foster strong relationships with families, maintaining open and regular communication.
Provide families with updates on their child’s progress and development and offer resources to support learning at home.
Qualification & Experience:
Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with a minimum of three years of experience as a Lead Educator.
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates.
Current Child Protection Certificate.
Valid Working with Children's Check.
Australian Working Rights.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to implement innovative and unique programming and practice for the team.
Team player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback, and reflects upon best practices.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
