Responsibilities:
- Lead Electrical Engineer responsible for delivering discipline-specific engineering services.
- Undertake engineering design from concept to completed deliverables for sustaining capital projects in the mining industry.
- Provide technical leadership and advice to a growing team of electrical/controls engineers.
- Review Safety in Design risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform discipline-specific engineering services, including calculations, drawings, and documentation.
- Collaborate with other disciplines and designers for plant and infrastructure designs.
- Cover a range of project phases from order of magnitude to detailed design and execution.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in mining or oil and gas.
- Proficiency in various project phases, including brownfield interfaces, HV and LV systems, electrical calculations, and system studies.
- Experience with materials handling systems and major projects.
- Strong understanding of switchboard and MCC replacements.
