Electrical & Controls Project Lead - FIFO (Dampier)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Client, a Tier 1 Iron Ore Producer, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to join their Maintenance Planning & Engineering team based in Dampier flying in and out of Perth working on a 5:2, 4:3 roster. This is an initial 6 month requirement, with a possible extension.

SCOPE:

• Delivering electrical and control systems projects up to roughly $2mil in value
• Manage the project from options study to construction and operational readiness
• Following the Company Finance and Dampier Port Capital Process to obtain funding
• Engage stakeholders and end users throughout the project.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-10 years experience in a similar role within an Electrical Engineering discipline in  the Mining Industry 
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skill set
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement strategies
• Relevant Degree Qualification (Electrical)
• Electrical & Control Systems Projects Engineering experience.
• Strong preference to those familiar with RTIO Work Management Process and have a good understanding in the use of SAP.
• National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
• Minimum C Class (unrestricted) license
• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical & LABDAS
• RTIO Inductions (Advantage)
