Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of Stores Technology at Kmart Australia? We are looking for Lead Engineer to join our Stores Technology team, where we are dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of our hand-held devices, optimizing inventory levels, and creating a seamless experience for both customers and staff. What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading and driving DevOps practices within the Stores Technology team.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines for our Digital Stores initiatives.
• Utilizing CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure as code.
• Demonstrating expertise in cloud formation, ensuring scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
• Leveraging GitHub Actions for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Applying Config-as-Code principles to maintain infrastructure configurations.
• Utilizing AWS SDK to streamline development workflows.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have the Following:

• Proven experience as a Lead Engineer in a DevOps role.
• In-depth knowledge of CDK and proficiency in cloud formation.
• Strong expertise in GitHub Actions.
• Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AWS SDK and other relevant tools.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Config-as-Code principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
