POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Lead Facilitator / Trainer is responsible for the on-going development of all of SALT’s culture, leadership and wellbeing related programs delivered into local sporting clubs primarily focusing on our women and girls programs. The role will also involve promoting, presenting, recruiting, training and managing SALT program facilitators. The Lead Facilitator / Trainer will be an active member of the SALT exec team collaborating with SALT partners, conducting data analysis, assisting with event management and regular reporting.
OVERVIEW
This role is for an outstanding educator with a passion and experience in empowering women and girls particularly in regard to mental health, self esteem, character and values. The successful applicant should have a sporting background and an understanding of how local sporting clubs work. You should be a strong and confident public speaker. You will need to have had experience in the writing and teaching of educational content and be up to date on effective pedagogy. You will also need high level skills in organisation, record keeping and time management. You need to be prepared to travel to country Victoria and possibly interstate.

EXPERIENCE
Working knowledge of sporting club culture and experience in developing, presenting and training others in educational content and delivery essential
FORMAL EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Education preferred but not essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
COURSE DEVELOPMENT- Modify existing courses/presentations on a regular, quarterly schedule in partnership with the Program and Presenter Development Coordinator
- Be our number one female facilitator. Demonstrate outstanding knowledge and delivery skills to audiences aged 11 – 90 in sporting clubs across the country both face to face and online
- Train new facilitators to the high standards required.
- Upskill current facilitators
- Maintain a high standard of understanding in regard to latest developments and insights that inform our course content, training programs and public messaging
- In conjunction with the Program and Presenter Development Coordinator liaise with all partners to create and sustain strong partnerships and programs.
- Utilize the SALT CRM system and Club Health Check data
- Analyse and respond to survey data and provide feedback and course promotion to customers and potential customers
COMMUNICATIONS
- Communicate with facilitators, partners, sponsors, leagues, clubs in regard to levels of satisfaction and progress
- Communicate and equip our media coordinator to promote successful outcomes and advertise future opportunities for customers
- Represent SALT at strategic promotional events and display best of class knowledge and insights into the state of wellbeing and health in our community and the roles and responsibilities of sporting clubs in response
- Research and apply for appropriate grants for SALT and for sporting groups to access SALT courses
