This position will be leading a small team of internal fitters and, tapping into extensive industry, specialised equipment and product knowledge in other team members ranging from Managing Director, contractors and factory floor staff. Where needed, must be willing to access other external specialists and resources to ensure effective, safe, quality maintenance of equipment, projects, and sites
Candidate suitability:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good general machine maintenance principles- including pneumatics and hydraulics
- Welding experience preferred
- Restricted Electrical Workers License a plus
- Think systemically, value root cause investigation and have commitment to improvement
- Use MEX EMMS
- Consultative mindset with strength of conviction and interpersonal skills to influence or hold ground on critical values.
- Implement change, enjoy learning, growing, and developing self and others while being part of a larger team.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing ideally in a high safety focused environment would be valuable
- Have good organisation skills, (Project/resource management skills/experience ideal),
