The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the team in our Victorian operations. Reporting to the National Manufacturing and Engineering Manager your role will plan, schedule and monitor all maintenance activities across our Victorian sites and foster effective cross functional teamwork between Production and Maintenance. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Maintenance team to ensure effective operation of Victorian manufacturing, dispatch and warehouse sites;
• Develop an engineering and maintenance plan including timeframes to deliver fit-for-purpose maintenance systems and activities;
• Co-ordinate the maintenance function, including planning and scheduling maintenance and shutdowns and spare parts stock levels to optimise the availability and productivity of plant and equipment;
• Manage all service contractors to comply with WSHE requirements;
• Participate in, and support, operation improvement projects in conjunction with key stakeholders;

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Previous experience in maintenance supervision or similar role, with proven capability in stakeholder management, leadership and communication.
  Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and knowledge of a wide variety of equipment maintenance. 
• Proven hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to work with stakeholder to deliver outcomes, safely and to the right standard.
• Resilience, motivation and determination to lead a continuous improvement agenda and improve processes.
• Sound understanding of maintenance management software.
