Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our music school. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for music education.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a new leadership position that's perfect for someone who loves education and knows how to get things done.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our educational services provider, including managing schedules, recruiting students, and keeping our teachers happy.
• Make sure we're staying on top of the latest trends in education, so we can keep making learning fun and exciting.
• Keep our finances in check by managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and reporting on financial performance.
• Work with our clients, including students, parents, and educational institutions to make sure they're happy with our services, and develop new partnerships to grow our reach.
• Hire, train, and manage our staff, so everyone's working together to make sure our students have the best possible experience.
• Develop and implement training programs to make sure everyone's up to speed on the latest teaching methods and technologies.
• Make sure our customers are happy by providing top-notch customer service.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, or a related field.
• Must be able to play a musical instrument at an advance level.
• At least three years of experience in operations management or education.
• Great communication skills and the ability to lead a team. 
• A passion for education and making learning fun. 
• Knowledge of the latest trends in education, and experience working with teachers, students, and educational institutions. 
• Experience managing budgets and financial reporting. 
• A customer-first attitude and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and students.
• Exceptional multitasking skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and relevant software applications
• Knowledge of music education principles and practices (desirable but not essential)
