AddressWestern Health is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Grade 4 Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sunshine Hospital on a temporary full-time basis (Until 26/09/2025). This position presents an exciting opportunity to join Western Health Pharmacy at a time of growth and development in our Health Service.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing our technician team at Sunshine Pharmacy Department. This includes training, orientation and supervision of fellow technicians as well as playing an important role in maintaining accurate inventory management, promoting medication safety and ensuring the smooth operation of the Pharmacy Department.
To be Successful in this Role, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) or equivalent (or working towards this)
- Minimum of four years full time experience as a qualified Pharmacy Technician
- Well-developed organisational skills and capacity to assign priority to responsibilities to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
- Leadership qualities and the ability to help supervise junior staff
