Lead / Principal Engineer

Paragon Engineering are excited to announce an opportunity for an exceptional Senior Engineer who shares our values and dedication to quality to join as an integral part of our high performing team. 

The role would be ideal for a Senior/Lead Engineer ready to progress to the next step in their career and make a contribution in our expanding operations.

We are seeking an individual with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges to help deliver a steady pipeline of exciting ground structure, bridge, and infrastructure projects.

Paragon is a key player in the specialist engineering consulting field. We are well-established and committed to delivering high-quality designs in our areas of focus in foundation and shoring systems, structural assessment and decommissioning, temporary works design, specialist testing/monitoring and bridge assessment and design.

To be considered for the role, you must have 

• Solid working knowledge of local codes
• Minimum of 10 years demonstrated experience within an engineering consultancy delivering detailed structural design
• Sound knowledge of design of shoring and foundation systems, temporary works design and structural decommissioning
• Knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering and bridge analysis and design will be highly regarded
• High competency in engineering and analysis software as well as FEM
• Ability to derive engineering methodologies and strong technical reporting skills
• Strong track record in providing mentorship and technical guidance
• Demonstrated awareness of project management and business development within the consultancy discipline
• The ability to communicate with clients and attend to site as required
• A degree in Structural Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia (CPEng and higher education are highly regarded)
