Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer to join our team permanent in our Perth office.
You will have a demonstrated track record of leading & applying technical expertise in the development of creative and sustainable Process Engineering designs and deliverables across studies and projects.
About the role
- Provide Process Engineering and mineral processing expertise all the way through engineering phases from conceptual design, front-end engineering and detailed design and similarly develop connections in the wider Ausenco to leverage capabilities.
- Develop and assist in development of the following:
- Process Design Criteria (PDC)
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Control philosophies and tables
- Process equipment sizing
- Heat and mass balance's and models,
- Trade-off studies, operating cost estimates & high level financial models etc.
- Mentor other Process Engineers and Graduates within the team
- Capable of prioritizing and delivering work in a fast-moving environment
- Develop technical specifications and designs to meet project specific objectives
- Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications, and scopes
- Resolve technical and design issues
- Liaising with a range of key stakeholders on all technical aspects of projects
About you
- Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Proven years of success in the mineral processing industry in a similar role with practical experience working in other engineering companies, on EPCM projects &studies
- Experienced in mill, concentrator and/or metallurgical plant design – particularly for base and precious metals
- Knowledge of engineering workflow process and working knowledge of industry process related software, codes and standards
