About the role
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration, production and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects and services across the country. These include processing facility modifications, energy optimisation, carbon capture and storage, as well as maintenance, integrity and construction related work programs.
Due to increased client demand, we are looking for a motivated Process Engineer to be responsible for the preparation of high quality designs, documentation and specifications satisfying both organisation and client expectations. We are looking for energetic, team players who can support our group of specialised engineers on a full time basis out of our Adelaide/Melbourne or Perth office (flexible based on preferred location of the candidate).
Skills, Knowledge & Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering (RPEQ preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience in Process Engineering
- Demonstrated experience leading complex projects
- Ability to mentor & lead other engineers
- Experience within the Australian oil and gas or mining industry preferred (other industry experience also welcomed)
- Extensive Process Design and Modelling experience
- Strong analytical, presentation and technical report writing skills
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and client requirements
- A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality work
- Commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace and the use of safe work systems
- Ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects
