Job description

Lead Producer

VGW is a fast-growing technology company and creator of market-leading online social games. With offices around the globe, we're on a mission to be the biggest gaming company in the world!

As the Lead Producer you will be responsible for working with our third party development teams across the globe in creating new online games. You will be championing content and feature development, maintaining clear project schedules and tracking team capacity ensuring they're meeting product deliverables.

Along with overseeing the product strategy of these games, you will work collaboratively with marketing to ensure they understand the value proposition, key messages and benefits of the product to ensure effective go to market strategies.

The successful candidate will have experience in product management and product marketing as well as a solid understanding of product analytics having used tools such as Amplitude to understand player behaviour and their journey in our games.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assume full responsibility for the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the third-party development team
  • Manage the marketing product development process once the external developer is onboarded
  • Establish and effectively convey the value propositions, key messages, and benefits of the product to internal stakeholders (Marketing, CRM, Account Management) as well as customers
  • Plan and execute product launches, collaborating with various teams to ensure successful go-to-market strategies and timely delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Continuously monitor and analyze product performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements or new product development
  • Own end to end production for the development team(s), with a focus on prioritisation of most impactful initiatives, predictable and regular deliveries and ongoing pipeline optimisation
  • Build strong and effective working relationships with external game developers
  • Ensure third party partners meet objectives and milestones

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline
  • 8+ years of product management experience with exposure to fast-paced technology organisations
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team to achieve ambitious objectives
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling marketing products
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of the full customer journey from acquisition to customer relationship management
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies
  • Braze, Tealium and other customer engagement platforms
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through product management
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with a strong focus on problem-solving and decision-making
