The role:
This is a senior leadership role in the Virtual Health Business. The role forms a critical part of the leadership team of and leads a multi-disciplinary Squad focused on innovative Health & Wellbeing products and services.
As the Product Owner, you will have deep knowledge of and experience in building and delivering health and/or digital products. In this role you are accountable for devising the product strategy, discovering and delivering new digital health propositions in B2B and B2B2C channels, drive growth, deliver outstanding customer experience, lead and influence through a cross-functional team of skills experts (UX, health, digital, commercial), be the subject matter expert for innovation and product practices, identify and form new strategic partnerships as well as actively contribute to the on-going transformation of organisational and people capabilities across the business.
This role requires deep subject matter expertise in Product Management and possess exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills. Key to the success of this role is to form strong relationships within and outside Ventures.
In this role, some of the work you will be doing include:
- Drive the strategic direction, vision, and priorities for the squad.
- Define and communicate the squad vision, goals, and roadmap; As well as the short-medium and long-term plan, grounded in a core understanding of the customer and their needs state.
- Gather and prioritise requirements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
- Ensure effective collaboration, communication, and execution within the squad environment, promoting a culture of autonomy and customer centricity.
- Manage the effective budgeting of product development work and its funding
- Lead the work of the squad to execute on the product roadmap backlog, constantly reprioritising activity to optimise for customer value
As the Product Owner, you will have deep knowledge of and experience in building and delivering ground-breaking health and / or digital products in a commercial setting.
You will have 7+ years building brilliant, customer obsessed health and/or digital products with a track record of success at scale.
You will have exceptional product expertise and extensive networks and influence in the broader health and digital systems.
You will have significant experience in both commercial and start up environments.
You will have a brilliant track record leading large, cross functional teams delivering new products as well as proven ability to lead teams scaling products in both B2B and B2C settings
