About the role:
The primary objective of the role is to lead mobile development across a Digital development team, including contributing to technical strategy and mentoring developers. This position will be a blend of technical capabilities and people leadership. The success of this role would be determined by your ability to apply your in-depth software experience whilst guiding and mentoring a developing team.
In this role, you'll be:

• Building and managing the Mobile direct to customer channel for Alinta.
• Ensuring adherence to the architecture of the Digital platform
• Championing the adoption of emerging technologies and maintain technical responsibility for software development projects
• Building effective and trusted relationships with various stakeholders in the business. Active listening, applying flexibility where needed and ensuring proactive / reactive communication will be paramount
• providing leadership and support to build a highly engaged and high-performing team.

Ideally, you'll bring to the role:

• Proven experience in Mobile Development with solid experience in software development, focusing on mobile applications
• Proficient in developing cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
• Back End Development Skills coupled with knowledge of relevant technologies
• Experience in a leadership role, guiding and mentoring development teams
• Ability to work in an Agile delivery team
