Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect to spearhead the development and delivery of a technical solution for their Timetabling and Room Booking Software Implementation Project. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of architects, technical leads, business analysts, and the project manager to define business outcomes and product roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of the technical solution for the Timetabling and Room Booking Software Implementation Project.
- Work closely with architects, technical leads, business analysts, and the project manager to define business outcomes and product roadmaps.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a technology target state architecture by producing technical artefacts such as standards, patterns, policies, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
Qualifications and Accreditations:
- Postgraduate qualifications in ICT or Technology Architecture, significant progress towards such qualifications, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
- Extensive technology experience in leading IT projects involving data migration and integration across large ERP or SaaS implementations, including delivery from both third-party implementation partners and internal resources.
Skills:
- Proven strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and adopt new processes and technologies to deliver excellent service and quality outcomes.
- Ability to prioritise workload, work independently, and manage conflicting demands under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop, influence, and maintain strong professional relationships with a diverse range of people.
- Excellent people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and lead a team in a complex environment with deadlines and tight timelines.
Experience:
- Significant experience across the software development life cycle, including high-level estimation and business case development.
- Experience with both packaged and custom-built software.
- Experience in consulting with and influencing key stakeholders to develop solutions that deliver required outcomes.
Key Deliverables:
- Architecture of current and future states.
- Sign off for design specifications.
- Technical approval for vendor design, build, and test results.
