Our client who is within the health care space is looking to engage a Solutions Architect/ Technical Solutions Lead for an initial 6 month contract working onsite at their location.
Responsibilities- Drive a fit for purpose system and provide technical capability to ensure the solution as designed is implemented across the agreed components
- Provide advice to the overarching project manager on the deliverable aspects of the solution implementation. Including contribution to project reporting, particularly in relation to activities, risks, issues, and defects
- Work with solution and business architecture leads to ensure the components are effectively implemented and documented
- Be able to provide guidance and hands on capability in scaling conceptual, logical and physical system architecture in a complex health environment
- Effectively represent, negotiate, and influence colleagues and suppliers to ensure product readiness is prioritised
- Work with business and delivery partners to ensure a safe and functional product is delivered, tested and ensure defects are resolved in a prioritised and timely manner
- Promote the project goals, manage communications, and quickly establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage allocated risks in collaboration with the project manager and delivery leads within agreed tolerances, escalate, and report any project risks in a timely manner.
- Ensure system integration and product readiness, key aspects include:
- integration standards and architecture
- Data management
- Legislation and regulatory requirements
- Software development lifecycle
- Environment management
- Assist with implementation planning and technical preparation activities
- Document the physical architecture
- Delivery of a safe and stable product ready for clinical and scientific use, which brings value to the client, conscious of achieving outcomes with the pressures of time, cost, risk, and quality
- The solution environment is a highly integrated solution utilising HL7, API and multi-modal integration between systems, pathology instruments, and internal and external systems.
- The delivery environment is highly complex with a specialist multi-site clinical and scientific laboratory environment.
- Significant digital product implementation experience in large and complex organisations
- Experience in health projects is a minimum with ideally LIS project experience
- An understanding of health integration (including HL7) approaches is a minimum
- Experience in utilising Jira would be ideal
- Experience with MS teams and MS Visio ideal
- Strong influencing, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- A team player who is emotionally intelligent
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
