Based in Adelaide, the Lead Strategic Advisor play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive General Manger - Mining Growth & Transformation. Your primary responsibility will be to drive and support the success of a transformative project, ensuring alignment with our financiers' and partners' due diligence needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic advice and support to the EGM and Executive leadership team, with a specific focus on the transformational project
- Regularly update and report to senior management, financiers and stakeholders on the progress, challenges and opportunities of the transformational project
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamlines processes and enhance productivity
- Ensure compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements/legislation for the transformational project by maintaining accurate records and collaborating closely with the regulatory authorities
- Identify, asses, and mitigate operational risks that affect the business
- Collaborate with the Executive leadership team to shape and develop robust long term plans for the transformational project and the overall business
- Proactively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders maintaining effective relationships internally and externally for the success of the transformational project
- Foster a proactive Health, Safety and Environment(HS&E) culture and environment within the context of the transformational project
- Evaluate and review the success of different strategic business plans and budget outcomes related to the transformational project
Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, commercially astute and agile thriving in a high performing collaborative environment to drive transformational change. Previously you may have been in a Chief of Staff position or a senior advisor/support to a Leadership team going through significant change.
You will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Business or related field
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of the mining industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build, develop and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow processes and ability to deliver on strict deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills with the ability to present concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
