AddressHello, I am a young 64 year old friendly and kind woman who lives in Sunnybank Hills. My interests include animals, travelling and music. I am looking for a Lead Support Worker to assist me with my daily living, community access, social participation, appointments, shopping and leisure pursuits.
The successful applicant will:

- Have excellent communication skills, be a skilled negotiator and be good role model
- Understand social roles, the importance of networks and connection, and be an advocate for inclusion.
Key Duties:
- Supporting me to manage my team of Support Workers
- Coordinate my roster
- Training of new Support Workers
- Driving me to appointments in my van
- Assist with Daily Living including personal care
- Domestic assistance including cooking, cleaning and household duties
- Assistance with managing animals, feeding, cleaning cages (dog and birds/parrots)
- Social and community engagement
Shifts:
- Mondays (weekly) 11.30am-3.30pm
- Tuesdays (fortnightly) 9.30am-2.30pm
- Wednesdays (Weekly) 11.30am-3.30pm
- Flexibility to pick up extra shifts when team members are on leave
Pay Rates (under Staffing Options Payroll):
- Monday to Friday6am - 8pm shift - $36.50 per hour
- Monday - Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $40.88 per hour
- Saturday - $51.10 per hour
- Sunday - $65.70 per hour
- Public Holiday - $80.30 per hour
Requirements:
- Physically able to meet the requirements of the role
- Articulate with good sense of humour
- Focused, positive person
- Ability to take direction from a person with a physical disability
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Flexibility to cover and change shifts
- Live locally (preferred)
- Must like animals and be happy to perform above listed duties
- You will also need to be punctual, reliable and well presented
- Current Open Queensland Drivers License
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Current Yellow Card/ Yellow card Exemption (or willing to obtain a Disability Workers Screening Clearance)
