ABOUT THE ROLE:
Join us as we expand our team and play a vital role in shaping the future of product design for our client- a leading Australian retailer! We are seeking a skilled Lead UX Designer to lead the optimization of the customer experience, particularly focusing on cart and checkout processes Your mission? Enhance their eCommerce and digital channels, streamline customer journeys, and revolutionise in-store team engagement.
As a Lead UX Designer, you'll be at the forefront of our creative endeavours, collaborating closely with stakeholders to influence design decisions and deliver top-notch user experiences. You will play a pivotal role in driving better customer experiences and overall revenue uplift through strategic optimizations and A/B testing. Here's a glimpse of what awaits you:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use existing data to optimize the cart and checkout process, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer journey.
• Establish high-standard design prototypes to guide the project and ensure alignment with the brand and customer expectations.
• Implement tests to determine the most effective strategies for either a complete rebuild or a significant overhaul of the cart and checkout system, using a data-driven approach.
• Conduct continuous small-scale testing throughout the optimization process, iterating based on insights and feedback.
• Take ownership of designing, building, and implementing A/B tests, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
• Provide support during the testing process and assist with the deployment of successful strategies to optimize the customer experience.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize future tests, such as design and development enhancements for landing pages, and content optimization and development

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or related field, with a focus on customer experience optimization.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices, with experience in designing and implementing A/B tests.
• A track record as an end-to-end Product Designer, with extensive skills in wireframe design, UI creation, prototype development and user testing
• Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Extensive experience designing for websites and other touchpoints, with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
• Experience in service design
