What is the job?
As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in the daily on-site management of projects. Reporting directly to the Trade Manager, you will work closely with the team to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding carpentry skills, contribute to our overall high quality of work and have safety at the front of mind.
This position will be mainly based on site, you will be on the road, moving across various jobs throughout the day, including Retail, Banking, Government & Petroleum sites.
All you need is the following:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Carpenter, Site Manager or Leading Hand Carpenter.
- A qualification in Building & Construction, Carpentry and/or WHS is essential.
- Experience working on commercial sites, petroleum, and retail banks is advantageous.
- Ability to lead a team of trades, a good communicator with problem-solving skills.
- White card and driver's licence are a must, and extra tickets will be a bonus.
