Address CLIENT:Building some of Rockhamptons's most beautifully designed and stunning houses, this construction company has set the bar high for quality, customer satisfaction, and successfully delivering homes of a very complex nature. The take on emerging and driven construction professionals with a passion for high-end construction thrive when dealing with quality trades and materials.
Due to an abundance of new projects, they now require an additional exceptional Leading Hand Carpenter to join the team. This role will work closely with the Site Manager, who will help you further your skills. Your projects will be around the inner city suburbs of Rockhampton, working with highly acclaimed architects.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
Qualified Carpenter with strong domestic building knowledge and an appreciation for high-end/ luxury construction
Recent experience as a Leading Hand/ High-end NEW BUILD, Refurbishment & Extension experience all considered
Understanding and commitment to OHS
Stable work history and references to support being reliable and motivated
Essentially you will be well presented and from a carpentry background who has demonstrated leadership capabilities and is ready to take the next step in your career. Make no mistake; this role comes with the possibility of internal promotions.
To be successful in your application, you will need to demonstrate the following:
Qualifications in carpentry and strong domestic building knowledge
Recent experience as a Leading Hand
Completed high-end refurbs & extension experience
Understanding and commitment to OHS
An appreciation for high-end/ luxury construction
Excellent communication skills
Stable work history and references to support being reliable and motivated
WHAT'S ON OFFER:
$45-$55 per hour + super
Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
Additional Daily Travel allowance ($21.19 per day)
Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
Long term projects
