Lohman Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Concreter to work on bridge, culverts, drainage and infrastructure projects for a variety of clients.
We are looking for a new team member around the Brisbane area to work FIFO/DIDO in rural and remote locations throughout QLD. Rosters will vary (3/1 or 10/4) , determined on a project by project basis for local government and coal mine clients.
About you:
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Leading Hand Concreter, who place the highest value on the safety of themselves and their colleagues. You must be willing to demonstrate the Lohman Contracting culture of care, dignity and respect for people, equipment and the environment. You will be committed, reliable and focused on a long-term career with us.
Role Requirements:
- Min 7 years concrete experience (essential)
- Experience with private, heavy industry, local and state government infrastructure projects up to $5M
- Mine site experience (highly desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Proficient in formwork, reinforcing & steel fixing
- Pour & finish concrete
- Ability to screed
- Completion of daily site diaries
- Conduct crew pre starts
- Periodically work unsupervised
- Ability to work with a team and overcome challenges
- Willing to work DIDO/FIFO
Qualifications:
- White Card
- Drivers Licence
- Coal Board Medical (highly regarded)
- Standard 11 (highly regarded)
- Earthmoving tickets - HR, excavator, skidsteer, roller experience (highly desirable)
