We are seeking a qualified Electrician and a 3rd or 4th year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team!
About the role - Electrician
- As a Leading Hand you must be confident in working on multiple small-medium Construction Projects and large custom Residential & Service projects delivering quality results for our clients and stake holders.
- Provide guidance and training to your team members in all aspect of electrical installations.
- This will primarily be a site based role, with sites being located all over the Greater Brisbane area.
- We also have service based roles available
- You will be required to help out in our service division from time to time.
About the role - 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
- As an Electrical Apprentice with Wells Electrical Services, we require you to be performing well in your TAFE course, and that you're on top of your eProfiling
- We give you the opportunity to be guided by our tradesman in the following
- Installations, fault finding, and variable speed drives in electrical work and competency development activities
- Apply Occupational Health and Safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
- Training on preventative maintenance systems
- Use drawings, diagrams, schedules, standards, codes, and specifications
- Install appliances, switchgear, and associated accessories for low voltage electrical installations
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in low voltage electrical apparatus and circuits

Your Key Responsibilities - Tradesmen:
- Taking ownership and accountability to allocated tasks and duties.
- Knowledge and capacity to fault-find and repair technical maintenance issues.
- Mentoring and coaching of apprentices to progress into experienced technicians.
- Managing client concerns and requirements and maintaining strong client relationships while onsite.
- Meticulous attention and accuracy regarding detailed documentation relating to completion of jobs.
- The ability to read drawings and understand specifications / scopes in order to follow jobs correctly.
- To be able to complete WHS / OH&S requirements on site such as SWMS and Risk Assessments.
- Must be able to work unsupervised with confidence and be well-presented in-front of the customers.
- A high-level of attention to detail in the quality of your work in an efficient and productive manner.
- Applicants must be willing to travel on occasions with most of our work being located anywhere in the Greater Brisbane region.
Your Key Responsibilities - Apprentice:

Skills And Experience
- Proficiency in Simpro (preferred) - training can be provided (tradesmen only)
- 1+ year post trade experience in general electrical and communications (preferred but not required)
- Current Manual Driver's Licence required (Tradesmen and Apprentice)
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Valid Electrical Licence (tradesmen only)
- Current CPR/LVR Certificate
- Flexibility and a positive attitude
- Excellent diagnostics skills
