Senior Electrician / Leading Hand - Opportunity To Develop Your Career

DYFA Electrical is currently looking for an Electrical Leading Hand / Supervisor to join the residential team.

THE ROLE:

You’ll be perfect for this role if:

• Experience with leading a team.
• Working independently.
• Understand the importance of dead lines and time targets.
• Be able to supervise other team members and apprentices.
• Great organisation skills and job management.
• Have a high level of detail and can complete all QA at stages of projects.
• Strong background in all aspects of residential construction.
• You are energetic with a positive outlook.
• Enjoy working as part of a team where you are acknowledged for your hard work.
• Are great with customers and have excellent communication skills.
• Want to get in at ground level for a growing company and enjoy continuing to learn and improving your skills.
• Have opportunities to progress your Career and move up as the company grows.
• Ability to use a smartphone, tablets and all job management apps and programs.

The Skills required are:

• Reading electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Reading and understanding construction plans.
• Great communication  skills with customers and administration staff.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Strong knowledge on AS3000 and other relevant standards.

Applicants will require:

• Queensland electrical license.
• Cert II Air-con license preferred.
• CEC accreditation and or experience preferred.
• Strong new build experience.
• Current CPR, low voltage rescue.
• Current QLD drivers license.
• White Card.
• Blue Card (working with children) or can obtain.

If you currently don’t have the required qualifications required DYFA Electrical will pay for training for successful applicants.
