Are you an experienced in road maintenance and looking for an opportunity to expand your skills and oversee projects in your local area? Council is looking for a motivated team player to join our Transport Maintenance team.
Position Overview: In this position you will be providing supervision, assistance and support to the team to upkeep and maintain Councils footpaths, kerbs and gutters, drainage works and minor capital works. You will also be operating and maintaining Council’s plant and ensuring the team is complying with work, health and safety requirements.
Who we are looking for: Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual, who possesses strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and support team to meet organisational objectives. The successful applicant will also have experience in a similar role, with excellent time management skills, along with proficiency in using computers and mobile devices. A current MR drivers licence, white card, and Work Zone Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Guidance Plan accreditations are essential.
