Lead/Senior Estimator

Mayday Blue are looking for a experienced Senior/Lead Estimator to a fantastic main contractor in Sydney, the role would see you leading, co-ordinate and prepare first principle estimates.

The Role:

• Prepare first principal estimates, in conjunction with the estimating support team, from receipt of tender documents to submission of tender proposal
• Ensure that procurement of quotations includes technical assessment of subcontract and supplier offers for incorporation into the tender
• Coordinate and collaborate with subject matter experts on methodology, program, IR, plant and tender review process.
• Manage the client and or agent to understand expectations and or provides options to enhance the relationship.

The Requirements

• Electronic Estimating Software Microsoft office (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar profession (preferred but not essential)
• Extensive experience in recognising and understanding implications in programs
• Extensive experience in first principle estimating for heavy civil construction
