How you'll make an impactAs an experienced Learning and Development Specialist you will bring demonstrated capability, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to build maturity across L&D governance, frameworks and processes. You will have worked in a fast-paced, agile environment across multiple projects and tasks.This position focuses on supporting the design, management, and continuous improvement of learning infrastructure and onboarding frameworks. You will be responsible for producing detailed learning project briefs and developing change and communications plans. Additionally, you will play a key role in the enhancing the capability of our client's new software system. The position also includes ownership of the capability framework and competency tracking, as well as analyzing data to identify competency gaps and providing targeted learning solutions to address them.Please note this is a 2-year, Maximum Term contract.On a day to day basis you will:
- Take Ownership of our capability framework and competency tracking
- Produce detailed learning project briefs, outlining target audience, outcomes, proposed learning solutions and measures of success
- Develop strategies and create & deliver training materials using contemporary Adult Learning principles to improve our business's capability in utilising key software systems
- Analyse data, trends, and evidence-based research to provide advice on how to close competency gaps and enable targeted support from complimentary roles
- Develop change and communications plans to implement learning solutions or experiences
- Build out and implementing key learning governance resources
- Improve internal Learning and onboarding processes for consistency and maximum effectiveness
- Communicate with key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation and coordinate focus groups and pilots in line with project timelines to deliver key learning content where appropriate
- Demonstrated experience, either as a Learning and Development Specialist, Capability Specialist, or equivalent specialist experience in related function
- Experience working in a fast paced, agile environment across multiple projects and tasks
- Previous experience in learning needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning programs
- Experience in the implementation of change management strategies
- Advanced level Excel skills and solid experience with analysing data to make informed learning decisions
- Solid experience working with Capability frameworks
- Commercially minded with a proven ability to consult with stakeholders to understand capability gaps
