Our client is an entrepreneurial-minded 'profit for purpose' registered training organisation that offer a wide range of short courses and qualifications across aged care, customer service, disability, hospitality, mental health and community services. Due to their continued growth, our client requires an experienced senior Learning Designer who is ready to take the next step up in their career and run their own team in a Managerial position.
As Learning Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining a market-leading portfolio of training products with an innovative approach.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Lead and manage the priorities for Learning Design and development across the RTO, guiding a team of designers to create engaging and practical learning programs and materials;
- Accurately scope learning projects to determine development costs, timelines, and resource needs;
- Ensure training programs and materials comply with relevant industry and training standards;
- Proactively develop and manage the team's workflow to ensure efficiency and effectiveness;
- Scope learning projects to determine development costs, project timelines, and required resources;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure learning solutions meet organisational goals and learner needs;
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Learning Design team.
- Possess a relevant qualification or significant experience in education, design, product development, or related fields;
- A strong understanding of ASQA/VET framework is highly advantageous;
- Highly analytical with proficient problem-solving capabilities;
- Prior experience in the Community Services sector is highly desirable;
- Extensive experience with eLearning authoring tools, media production tools and LMS;
- Exceptional project management and planning skills, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.

- Salary circa $110k base + super + up to $16k salary packaging p/a.
- Office based in Geelong. Open to remote or hybrid working arrangements.
