About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a state-of-the-art portfolio of training products. You will also be responsible for managing the Learning Design and development priorities for the RTO while leading a high-performing team of learning, instructional, and multimedia designers. This role will report to the Head of Learning Design but will work closely with most aspects of the business.
About the Company
My client is a reputable registered training organisation that offers a wide range of short courses and qualifications in aged care, customer service, disability, hospitality, mental health, and community services. They are looking for an experienced Learning Design Manager who can hit the ground running straight away.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry/training standards and frameworks (VET, ASQA, etc.), spanning the planning, development, consultation, and publication of training programs and materials.
- Supporting the design and development of high-quality learning and assessment solutions through the application of robust project management practices and leadership skills.
- Applying continuous improvement processes to all development and review processes, especially in line with VET/ASQA compliance and industry currency.
- Leading a small team within a multi-disciplinary environment, working collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Providing feedback and guidance in relation to the production of high-quality learning and assessment products in accordance with ASQA standards and exceptional learner experience.
Criteria:
- A strong understanding of ASQA/VET framework
- Experience working in VET and corporate settings.
- Highly analytical with proficient problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools, media production tools and LMS;
- Exceptional project management and planning skills, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Prior experience in the Community Services sector is highly desirable.
