The Opportunity 

Southern Cross Care have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, engaging, people focussed individual to join our Learning and Development team. 

Based in Hobart/nipaluna, our Learning and Development Business Partner plays a pivotal role in in fostering employee growth and development within the organisation. 

They are responsible for collaborating with various departments to identify learning needs, designing and implementing effective training programs, and evaluating their impact on employee performance and organisational goals. 

This position requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

About You

You will have a community care, aged care and or learning and development background. An enthusiastic person with a desire to indirectly improve the lives of our clients and residents by providing high quality education to Southern Cross Care, Tasmania employees. 

You must be self-starting and autonomous with the ability to build strong relationships in order to meet learning compliance targets.  

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on employee development and organisational success. 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office or similar software applications
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • Minimum requirement Certificate IV in Learning and development or a desire to obtain
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work autonomously with exceptional time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging training content across diverse audiences
  • Strong team culture and passion to help others
  • Any other task or duty as reasonably and lawfully directed by Southern Cross Care
