Learning Enrichment Aide (Part-Time, Term Time)

We are currently seeking a dedicated part-time Learning Enrichment Aide, who will have the opportunity to also work in our Prep area.  This position is to commence with us as soon as possible.

Your will:

• Participate in the educational planning process and the implementation of Student Support Plans as directed by the Learning Enrichment Centre teachers
• assist in the ongoing monitoring and modifying of Student Support Plans under the direction of the Learning Enrichment Centre teachers and class teachers
• Work in classrooms under the direction of the class teachers and Learning Enrichment Centre teachers
• Maintain current written data on students as set out by the Learning Enrichment Centre teachers
• Accurately complete the necessary Record of Support on a term or semester basis following the procedure set out by the Learning Enrichment Centre teachers
• Be organised and tidy in the Learning Enrichment Centre rooms and classrooms
• Work as quietly as possible in classrooms under the direction of the teacher and in the Learning Enrichment Centre room
• Work with students one-on-one or in groups in withdrawal and in the classroom
• Assemble the necessary resources to work with students on programs or when additional materials are requested
• Maintain a timetable for selected students and support groups
• Speak with a positive approach towards issues, students, parents and staff
• Communicate with parents and visiting professionals with the permission of the Learning Enrichment Centre teachers
• All staff are required to sign a lifestyle agreement as part of their employment contract, including a Christian testimony and a reference from a minister
